Need help conducting a job search ... developing a resume ... preparing for an interview ... designing a plan for successful employment?

Operation ABLE's Career Resilience Center offers many helpful resources for exploring career options and conducting a job search. The fees for this help are very reasonable. The Center is located at Operation ABLE's Detroit office at the Hannan House.

Career Center Membership	Access to valuable career information and informal support. Membership benefits include: Library of career magazines, newspapers and self-help books Access to phones, Internet and fax Use of software for career exploration, development of cover letters and company information Networking meetings Informal staff assistance and presentations on career-related topics 10% discounts on Operation ABLE's computer training, workshops and career counseling	1 month - $40 3 months - $75
Counseling / Coaching	One hour session with licensed professional counselor	$50/hour
Development of Job Search Campaign	Guidance from Career Counselor/Job Developer in designing your plan for successful employment.	$115
Assessment	After meeting with a career counselor, use the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, the Values Card Sort, and/or Skillscan to fine tune your job interests and map out your job search.	Varies with the assessment tool(s) used
Mock Interviews	ABLE counselor will conduct a video-taped mock interview, critique your presentation and offer recommendations for handling difficult questions.	$75

Resume Services – Pick the options that meet your needs!
Option A – The Basics	Word process a 1-page resume you have already developed.	$25
Option B – Make it Scannable	Convert your existing traditional resume to a text-only version for e-mail/online submission. You must already have a resume available on disk.	$25
Option C – Reference List	Word process your list of at least four employment-related references with up to date contact information.	$15
Option D – The Cover Letter	Develop a cover letter.	$25
Option E – Develop a Resume	Meet with a Career Counselor, who will help you create a traditional resume that will be saved on disk.	$75
Option F – Full Resume Service	Includes your meeting with a Career Counselor, the development of traditional and scannable resumes saved on disk, preparation of a cover letter and list of references, and 20 copies of the traditional resume on resume paper.	$125
