JOB TRAINING & JOB SEARCH SERVICES

Whether currently unemployed or looking to develop skills necessary for maintaining future employability, Operation ABLE's services are aimed at helping mature job seekers.  Our services include:

• Extensive computer training, including Microsoft Office and the Internet

• Occupational skills training

• Job placement assistance

• Annual job fair

• Career development workshops

• Up-to-date labor market information

• Easy access to educational program information

Eligibility & Fees
Our services are aimed at helping mid-career and older job seekers - adults who are over 40 years of age.

Some services are funded through grants and contracts with public agencies such as the City of Detroit Employment and Training Department.  Other funding comes from foundations and corporate supporters.  You may be eligible for free services if you meet the eligibility requirements for one of these funding sources.  To schedule an appointment to learn about whether you qualify for free services, please call us at 1-800-922-HIRE.

Skill-Building Workshops

Career Resilience Centers & Career Specialists
